Step Up 2

I've given up thinking of interesting names for my blog.... mainly because nothing interesting has been happening....
I worked Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Boring.
Today I went to the cinema to see Step Up 2. Thought I might find some more good dancy music but all the music in the film is all stuff I've been listening to recently *sighs*. Good film though.... haven't seen Step Up 1 though so might rent it or something someday.
Nothing else has happened.......

Ill =(

I haven't blogged for almost a week but I've just been ill and had an essay due in.... the essay went well and I got it done in plenty of time =) Not really done much else!
I'm living with Jess, Emma and Hev next year.... Jess's parents bought her a house and they're doing it all up before we move in.... I get a double bed and an ensuite and everything.... also get to pick what colours my room is painted and stuff =D yay! exciting!
I'm working the next 3 days so I doubt I'll blog..... I'll just blog when something interesting happens =P

Lock and Key

Well on Wednesday I wasn't in the best mood (don't ask) so I stayed in bed rather than going to my lectures.

That night we decided to go to Corp. The queue was HUGE and after about an hour we had barely moved so me and Kerri went and cut in near the front and gave the others the free entry for after 12 tickets. Me and Kerri got in free because it was before 12 anyway.

Once me and Kerri were in we went to the bar.... it took us about half an hour to get served and I told Kerri I'd get us two drinks each so we wouldnt have to come back for a while.... She said get 2 quads and I thought she meant just for her.... So that's what she got =P lol! Bumped into a lot of people I knew including Mark and Tom from BRGS!

After about an hour and a half of being in we text the others asking if they were nearly in. Apparently they had been right at the front and the bouncer had said its 20 out 20 in so they left, but Tom decided to stay and he got in right after they'd all left! Basically it ended up being me, Kerri, Tom and Liam all night! At one point I asked Liam for his camera and he said I couldnt have it but that he'd get off with me instead! haha! Then he tried it on with Kerri aswell =P

Thursday I decided not to go to my seminar. That night we had the Law social at Walkabout. I played "I have never, have you ever?" with Lydia, Lydias flatmate, Laura and Lloyd. Then we set off for Plug! It was the Lock and Key night so me, Kerri, Laura and Emma all got our locks! I kept bumping into people I knew and they all tried their keys, some didn't work but by the end of the night 17 people had opened my lock! Woop! Only 2 opened Lauras =P

I found the B1 boys and decided I'd stay with them for the night because it was Terrys Birthday =) They were all rather drunk and several of them, including the Birthday Boy himself fit my lock! I think Abby was a bit disappointed because she had one of the locks that every key opened.... I would have been happy..... get your pick of everyone! haha!

At the end of the night me, Abby, Kai, Terry and Mart got a taxi back to Padrinos and got pizza then walked home. When we got back I went to B1 where we found Luke (who had gone home really early) almost asleep pissed out of his head at the dining room table. I made him drink some water but then Terry made him drink some Whiskey so I stood him up, got a glass of water, walked him to his room and shoved him in there with the water =P At the end of the night the Birthday Boy was the only one I could remember who fit my lock that still actually had his key! Lucky boy ;) haha only joking =P

I felt really ill today and my voice was rather croaky! lol! Going to get some work done soon and have a shower. Everyone seems to be going home and leaving me =( I still have a few nice people though =)

GBH guy

Friday was pretty uneventful.... I went to lectures and went home.

I worked half 9 until 3 on Saturday and managed to stay on top of the party mayhem! Although I did have the naughtiest party I'd ever had which was quite stressful =(

After that I went home, got all my stuff together and set off to Strawbs! The SAT NAV wouldn't turn on because it needed charging so when we got near to Manchester we rang Strawb to ask for directions. Somehow we ended up in Moss Side =S For those who don't know that's the really rough side of Manchester where all the shootings happen and stuff! It turned out she had thought we'd been approaching in the opposite direction so we'd basically been doing the opposite of the actual directions =P We found it eventually!

I said hey to Adam and was introduced to Strawbs flatmates and some of her random friends. I had a shower and me, Strawb and Joy all got ready to go out. After a few shots and random alcoholic punch the rest of the Sheffield girls came! Adam had made Strawb a cake and they had decorated it..... it was lovely =) We got her a cocktail fountain as her present..... she was well chuffed! Anyway we finally left and got the bus into Manchester.

We started off at Font bar when I was rather amused because the bartender asked what I wanted to which I replied "Sex on the Beach" and winked.... I know it'll have been done plenty before but I found it funny =P We had our photo taken and it's up on tilllate.com somewhere. Then we went onto 5th Avenue and used our Q jump tickets and the girls got in free too =)

I got rather tipsy..... people thought I was drunk because I was dancing around everyone but they were all just stood talking..... you go to a club to dance not talk! *sighs*. My friend Simon from college came to see me aswell and he came upto me at one point and told me Emma from Physics was looking for me. I asked if he meant ginger Emma and he said no...... but it was her after all..... Simon is just colourblind =P

Everyone started dancing at one point but like people were in couples so I told Simon to dance and surprise surprise he wouldn't and he told me to grab the next half decent guy that walked past..... so I did. I asked him if he wanted to dance with me and he took my hand and led me onto the dancefloor.... we had a little dance and then he told me to go with him to find his friends.... we wandered for a bit and didn't find them so we sat down to chat. He started telling me like normal stuff but then told me about how his younger cousin had been raped and how he'd nearly been done for GBH for what he did to the guy. He tried making a joke about it by saying now I knew the worst thing about him but I was already wary =S Then he asked me where I was staying (because he knew I'd come up from Sheffield) and I told him at Strawbs because it was her birthday and he said "So not with me in a hotel then?" and I was like "no mate sorry". Then we went to find his friends again and they were next to my friends so I decided to just go off with my friends for a bit so I was talking to them and he came up behind me, like nuzzled my neck and asked who they all were so I told him some were my flatmates etc and then Adam started doing the sharking symbol. Now being in Manchester the guy didn't know what it meant and thought Adam was taking the piss or something.... either that or he was jealous that me and Adam had been dancing together earlier.... but he like almost started threatening Adam so I stuck up for Adam and made sure they didn't start fighting (because Adam would to protect us girlies) and I didn't see the guy again after that, lol.

The Sheffield girls went early to Claires and finally the rest of us left and headed back to Strawbs. I proceeded to keep Joy and Andy awake till half 5 by nattering away. Don't think they were impressed =P Naa they loved me really =) The next day I went home very hungover.

Oh I forgot to say about Strawbs flatmate Stacey's stepbrother Jake. I thought he was really cute and we were messing about together.... I kept joking that he loved me.... he so did =) haha!

Last night we went to Embrace. It was pornstar night. Not particularly impressive though. They'd apparently got the worlds number 1 porn star in because he'd made like the most films and slept with the most women or something but he was old, fat and had a dodgy moustache!

At the end of the night I ended up in a taxi with the 4 lads and they all went to the Broomhill Friary while I went to Oasis.... I stood chatting to Quinton for a bit and apparently I was the last one they served because people kept coming in and getting turned away.... including Luke and Adam who had changed their mind about what they wanted to eat! They ended up in Padrinos and I joined them and sat eating my pizza while they waited for theirs. I also spoke to Luke, a guy I'd met on the Howden Bar Crawl, who told me he'd seen me in some of his lectures.... because he does Criminology and something else.... Social Policy maybe *shrugs*. Me, Adam and Luke walked back and got drenched and as we were coming in I saw the B1 boys and Holly and Abby were up so I went and hung out with them for a bit, including putting lipgloss on Luke when he got back =P and him trying to make me eat someone elses pizza even though I'd just had one to myself!

I got into bed at about 6am and had to get up again at 8am because I had to get back home for my dentist appointment at 11:15. I set off at 8:30 and only just made it back! Dentist was fine and then I went home for a bit and fell asleep on the couch for a few hours. When my mum got back she drove me back to Manchester and I got the train back to Sheffield. When I got back I made my tea and checked my emails and had a chat with Pippa and Kerri seen as I hadn't seen anyone all day! But that's it! My blog is up to date =)

Shoulda Woulda Coulda

Well Embrace wasn't that eventful really but all in all was a good night! Bumped into Mark Ratcliffe again and he finally decided to ask me where he knew me from! lol! When we got home Pip decided to cook food and she started singing shoulda woulda coulda and it was the funniest thing ever! I tried to get her to sing it again so I could record it but she wasn't drunk enough to fall for it! She really was a legend that night though! So much so Helen fell backwards over the couch trying to take a pic of her!

I can't remember any of Tuesday except we had a seminar and she split me and Lloyd up so I text him saying I was bored and he did look thoroughly thrilled (note the sarcasm) =P

Last night was Corp. It was a rather weird night as Gaz and Luke were trying to piece it and Pip kept disappearing upstairs and stuff. The law boys got in a big fight and were thrown out. After which I saw Lee and he gave me a kiss and hug and I told him all his mates had gone and he was sooooo confused bless him! He was smiling away as usual though!

When we were leaving we couldnt find Gaz so we waited outside for him. We rang him and Kerri thought she heard that he was outside so we wandered round shouting party Gaz for a bit to no avail. It turns out he had said he was outside some chippy near Opal 2!

We put the girls in one taxi and me and Liam got in a taxi with these 3 random lads and it was an amusing journey, with one guy still clinging onto his drink and me trying to take pictures with all 5 of us in and one of the guys asking the taxi driver if he could photograh us whilst driving haha!

Anyway when we all made it back we rang Gaz again and found out he'd decided to stay at Ellies in Opal 2 so we left him to it. About an hour or so later, at like half 4 in the morning me and Kerri were sat chatting away when we heard a knock on the door. There stands Gaz pissed out of his head and having walked all the way back from Opal 2. He comes in and slumps down at the dining table and him and Kerri proceed to arguing about whether something is red or pink for hours. At about 6 I wandered off to bed and awoke again at about 3pm to a text off Kerri asking if I was in my room and a note slipped under my door off Pip thanking me and paying me back for the money I lent her last night. I showered and made some tea and had some of Claires delicious cheesecake! yum! and that it where this blog ends!

Fighting a goblin

Yesterday I worked. We were fairly quiet so at about 5 my boss asked if anyone wanted to leave early and I did. I went home, had tea, spent some time with my mum seen as it was mothers day. I bought her a huge bouquet of flowers and 2 cards, one pretty one off myself and one that had this space that you could fill in yourself. I used my glitter glue and then put 3 baby photos of me, my brother and my sister on the front. Inside I put a more recent photo of us three together. I think she loved it =)
I got the train back later (yes trains were actually running on a sunday!) and sat opposite this girl on a table. This older guy sat on the table across from us and started talking to us. He appeared drunk and was saying allsorts like that it was obvious we both fancied him and wanted to marry him and have his kids. Creepy enough as it was but after we told him to shut up he carried on and kept saying stuff like "I'm not a paedo don't report me" and stuff like that. We ignored him and started talking to each other. When we were getting off the train he was still talking to us and we were still ignoring him and he started like spitting at us and stuff so we legged it away. When I got to the taxi rank the queue was huge and I knew he had been talking about getting a taxi so the other girl (Leya.... I think that's how it's spelt) said that her mate was picking her up and that he'd give me a lift back too. He was called Andy and was lovely. I was very grateful I didn't have to put up with that creep anymore!
When I got back I was very in need of a drink, thank god lots of people I knew were in the Edge doing the quiz anyway. After the quiz most people left and me and Kerri decided to stay for a few more, but then it was closing time so we sneaked out with our drinks and came back to the flat. Me, Kerri, Gaz, Luke and Pippa stayed up chatting for ages about allsorts. We ended up on the subject of drugs. Gaz told us about this guy was talking to his mates (about the night before when he'd been tripping on acid) and told them about him fighting a goblin. They just laughed at him and he started getting defensive saying "No I actually did I fought him and locked him up in my cupboard!" and they looked in his cupboard and there was this boy with downs syndrome in it. It was a horrible story =(
I got into bed at about 6 this morning and slept till 3pm, missing my midday lecture. Tonight I'm off to Embrace =)

I found out who the smurf was!

Well I was wondering how I could find out who the smurf was so I could apologise to him for wandering off and Kerri suggested that Lee knew the smurfs and I should ask him. I messaged him but then had a look through his friends..... one of whoms status was "... is all smurfed out" so I messaged him and asked if it was him and he told me that it was this other guy Alex (because he was the only one who went topless, haha)! But yeah the first guy I thought it might have been said he recognised me from somewhere and it turns out he does Law at Sheffield too! lol! What a small world! But my smurf was only visiting from London for his mates birthday.... shame because he was really nice if not a little hands on haha =) Went to Space last night. There was some good music, some bad.... not the best night out by far! Corp and Plug are the ways to go! My feet hurt a lot last night. Today I need to go buy my mum a mothers day present and go home *sighs*.
